The following were the average prices realised for the fleece portions of the clips named: Teohu 10Id, Pakipaki IOJd, Hamilton Downs IOJd, Flat Point lid. The tallow stock is 10,790 casks. The imports were 7531 casks, delivery 4334 casks. June and July* wheat sold at 32s 3d. At the wool auctions (second day) there was a spirited sale. Prices were very firm at the opening rates. Press Association. CUSTOMS DUTIES. CHRISTCHURCH, yesterday. The Custome revenue at the port of Lyttelton for the month of April totalled £43,693, against £34,241 in April last year. The excise beer duty for April this year was £1424, and for April last year £1545. RECORD GOLD OUTPUT. AUCKLAND, yesterday.
The AVaihi mine’s April returns constitute a record, £64,010 having been won from 27,655 tons, making the-total output of the mine £5,602,500.
