Sir,—Do you not think it would he a great convenience to the general public, and especially to visitors to the town, if the Public Reading Room were kept open during the morning. I do, and cannot understand why it should be otherwise. T have nere. before seen a Public Reading Room observe such hours; it seems absuid to my mind.
