Advice from London states that Mr. Chamberlain is progressing, though his knee still causes a slight limp. Otherwise he is in good health. He walks with two sticks short distances.
His Lordship the Bishop of IVaiapu returned from the northern portion of his diocese by. the Molcoia yesterday afternoon. On Sunday morning he will take a confirmation at Patutahi, and will leave for Napier in the afternoon.
A Press Association telegram from Wellington states that the Hon. W. Hall-Jones, the Acting Premier, left for the South last night.
