COAL COMPANY'S COMPLAINT. Press Association. AUCKLAND, last night. At the annual meeting of the Tanpiri Coal Alines this afternoon the ■shortage of railway trucks was referred to. it was stated that the output during the past year would have •been at least 10,0.00 tons more had there been sufficient trucks. It was also stated that a petition to the Minister of Railways was being promoted asking not only that more waggons be provided but also that engines of larger size be employed on the Waikato line, it being assorted that the present engines could not bring full loads u]) some of tho stoop grades between Mercer and Auckland. A shareholder asked whether the directors bad considered the question of providing their own trucks, but it was explained that tho Government did not allow tills to bo done.
