The following cable has been received from the High Commissioner, London:— The mutton market is weak, owing to tlio poor demand.Existing stocks on hand are heavy, and widely distributed amongst the agents, who are pushing sales. The current quotation is 625. Small business is doing in the hemp market, and prices are weak. Good fair grade on spot is £33 10s. April to Juno shipment £33, fair current Manila on spot £37. The cocksfoot soed market is quiet,and only light stocks are on hand.
