WOOL SHIPMENTS. NAPIER, last night, Cable advice has reached the Colony that the wool shipped per “Indralcma” is included in the list of the April-May series of sales, but the Walcanui and Kumarra arrived too late, and wool by these steamers will not be included, as the limit was filled prior to their arrival inLondon. A CONDEMNED BUILDING. t • DUNEDIN, last night.Yesterday morning Mr. Widdowson, S.M., gave judgment in the case of the Dunedin City Corporation v. Napier. The complainants applied to have a stable in Hope street pulled down as being insanitary. A certificate of the Health Officer had been given certifying the building to be detrimental to public health. Mr. Widdowson finds that the stable though old and perhaps not so up-to-date as the authorities required, seems to be in a remarkably good state of preservation, and in fairly good order and condition. He is of opinion that it was not proved to be decayed or delapidated, and that he would not be justified in making an order to pull it down. Judgment was given for defendant with costs (£0 6s), each party to pay their own expenses. SPECULA! lON IN HOTELS. DUNEDIN, last night. We are informed (says the Star) that in Waikara a short time ago, a hotel was sold for £I7OO, and in three, or four months’ time again changed ownership at an advance >1 £7OO.
