SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
(Press Assn. —By Telegraph.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 18. The ship Prince George, which left Port Pirio on April Ist for England, wheat-laden, has hcon towed into port in distress. She experienced a series of gales off the coast. Her boats and bridge, were carried away, and the decks started. The vessel is strained. On the 10th an especially severe storm was encountered. The second officer, Carlson, was washed overboard and drowned. Two seamen were injured. ADELAIDE, April 18.
A rock penetrated the forepeak of the steamer Willyama. Hopes of towing her off are doubtful.
PERTH, April 18. The schooner Edith has been wrecked at London creek. There is no news of the crew.
