SHOOTING WITH REVOLVER.
ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER AND SUICIDE. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, yesterday. Early this morning Hans Wilson was arrestc dfor shooting at his wife with a revolver and then attempting to shoot himself. He missed both times. They lived at Creykc street, and apparently quarrelled after returning from the Exhibition. Accused was remanded for a week for enquiry as to his mental condition. CHRISTCHURCH, last night. Hans Wilson, who was arresteil last night on a ohargo of shooting with a revolver at his wife, with the intent to do her bodily harm, appeared at the Magistrate’s Court this morning. The station Sergeant stated that the reports of the police were that the accused went home with liis wifo from the Exhibition, and no sooner had they reached home than he pulled out a revolver and fired at her. He missed her and then turned the weapon on himself, but again his bad marksmanship prevented a tragedy. The accused was remanded for a week and the Magistrate made an order that lie was to he examined as to his mental condition
