Press Association. THAMES, last night. Air John Grigg,. astronomer, states, under date April Bth, that a. comet has been observed in coelum 4.35 with a declination of 44 degrees, moving liortli-west. [The information is not very accurate. “Coelum 4.35” evidently means the Constellation Caela Sculptoris, right ascension 4.40 declination .42 south. From this position it would seem as though Marchetti’s predicted contact' with the earth has passed without us knowing of it. At any rate there will be time for devotions by those who fear trouble, and for us to look further into the matter.— Ed. G.T.]
