NOTICE is heredy given- that at a Special Meeting of tlife Gisborne Borough Council, hold on the 12th day of March, 1907, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the Borough Council make a By-law under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” the object and purport of which By-laws aro as follows : The By-law is divided into 20 parts, numbered from 1 to 20 inclusive, each of which part is divided into sections or subsections. Part I.—lnterpretation. Part ll.—Penalties. Part lll.—Regulating procodings at Mootings, etc. Part IV. —In respect of Streets generally. Part V —General provisions for the good rule and government of the Borough. Part VI. —Prevention of Fire Regulations. Part Vll.—Buildings for Public Meetings. Part VIII —Regulating erection of buildings and fixing brick area. Part IX.—Public Baths and Bathing. Part X. —Nuisances. Part XI. —Licensed carriages, carts, coaches, motor-cars, and drivers thereof. Part XII. —Hawkers and Pedlars and Public Weighing Machines. Part X 111. —Ledging-liouses. Part XlV—Sale of Milk and Food. Part XV.—Sanitation, removal of nightsoil and rubbish, etc. Part XVI —Miscellaneous, Hedges, Brothels, Bridges, Pounds, etc. Part XVII. —In respect to Waterworks. , Part XVlll.—Drainage and Sewerage, Plumbers, etc. Part XIX.—In respect to Porters. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the Council, to be hold on the 9th day of Aprij, 1907, at 7.30 p.m. A copy of the proposed Special Order and By-law is deposited at the Borough Council Offices, Lowe Street, Gisborne, where the same will lie for public inspection during office hours until the said confirming meeting ?s held.
