We are informed by the Vicar that Good Friday ranks as one of tho most solemn and important days in tho Church year. This being so tl u . clergy arc desirous of arranging services to suit all who may wish to keep the sacred character of the day. , Tlic services are arranged in the following order:—At 8 a.m., the Sacrament of the Holy Communion will be celebrated; At It o’clock there will be Aloming Prayer, Litany ad Sermons.
The clergy conduct a young people's service at 3 p.m. This is intended for all young folk whether attending tlie Sunday School or not. Parents, friends and other adults are invited. At 7 .o’clock there will be Evening Service and Sermon. Residents in the suburbs of Haiti and Alangapapa are asked to note that there wil lbo no service oil Good Friday in the respective schoolrooms, and they are cordially'; invited to come to Trinity Church.
A hearty invitation is also extended to all residents and visitors in the district, without exception, to join in the Good Friday services. All necessary books-will be furnished at the Church and the services will bo perfectly simple .and plain. Wc shall publish the Easter Day' services on Saturday.
