GRAND OPERA, “FAUST.’
Air. Chas. Cooper, the well-known biograph entertainer, who lias had such a slicesful season in Auckland and 'Wellington, will appear ill His Mnjesy’s Theatre Good Friday evening. The leading attraction will be i reproduction-upon tlie screen of the principal scenes from the grand opera “Faust.” This, it is promised, will be presented in a most complete manner. all the and color of the original production in Paris being retained, Ai.nsical and orchestral effects will enhance and give reality to the performance. A very large selection of other moving pictures will also be exhibited. They will include “Sherlock Holnies,” “American Fireman,” “Views of Alaoriland.” Alirth will be provoked by a number of tlie latest comic films, including popular “chase” pictures. Aliss Louie Fislier. and Air. Hugh Wilson will provide musical and comedy interludes.
The Company will appear on Good Friday night with a special programme. Children’s matinee on Saturday, and grand holiday programme oil Easter Afomlay night. Box plan opens at Aliller’s at 10 this morning.
