PERSONAL.
Dr. Valintine, Inspector-General of Hospitals, who has been on an official visit 1 of inspection to Gisborne for the past few days, proceeds South this evening. Mr. Knight, who has been connected for some time with Messrs. Common, Shelton and Coy’s, staff, leaves this evening en route to Canada, where he will probably make liis home. Mr. W. H. Benner, chief postmaster, takes his annual leave from tomorrow. He remains a few days in town, and leaves for AVellington by the Waikare on Sunday. Mr. S. Camming, chief clerk, will have charge in Mr. Benner’s absence.
