OWING to the impossibility of securing a suitable, .site for a Technical University, It has now been decided to erect a Public Monument in Wellington to tho memory of the late Right Hon. R. J. Seddon. The monument is intended to be a National Memorial, and it is hoped that the inhabitants of Gisborne and its neighborhood will heartily support the movement.
