MARKET FIRM WITH STRONG ADVANCE. Received 9.57 p.m. March 13. LONDON, March 13. The wool sales have opened, 12,623 bales being catalogued. There was a capital selection of crossbreds. There was a large attendance, all sections competing freely. Everything was firm. Coarsest crossbreds and stylish parcels of other grades advanced 5 per cent. There was strong competition for all meriios at par, ten, and five per cent advance.
