The cricket test match between tho Marylohono Club’s team and the New" Zealand team continued at Lancaster Park to-day. Mahoney and Boxslmll, tlio not outs, continued to hat. Tlio former carried his score to 71, and the latter, when lie had niado 21, was caught by l’ugo off May. Tho innings closed tor 207. Tlio Englishmen’s first innings produced 257. Johnson, the highest scorer for tho side, who was hatting strongly and consistently, was given out l.b.w. to Reese when ho was only one short of tlio century, and Fox was run out when inane 47 bv sound cricket.
