ROWING
The first round in the Sculling Handicap by the Poverty Bay Rowing Club was concluded on Saturday evening, when G. Henderson beat E. Thaxter after a good race, and F. Seymour beat T. Parker. In the draw for the second round, P. Willoughby meets C. Sommervell, and Seymour meets Henderson on Monday, and on Tuesday Nicholas meets Jones and Prichard meets Sheen, D. Murray a bye. The men leave the shed at 5 sharp, and some good racing may be expected, 'the following, crews are to go into active training lor trial fours for a set of gold medals presented by E. P.
