MR. J. C. WILLIAMSON'S NEW COMEDY COMPANY.
Mr Chas. Waldron and Miss Ola Humphrey have won the highest opinions ”in Australia, Dunedin, Christchurch, and Wellington for their clever and highly finished performances, and the remainder of the company also come to us well accredited. The scoiie of action *of the “Squaw Man” and its surroundings are said to be entirely different from anything yet produced here in the dramatic line. “The Virginian” will be played on the second night of the season, and judging by popular report is one of the most fascinating of its class, “American Comedy drama.” “Under Two Flags,” is announced as the third and last attraction of the season. Ouida’s popular story should lend itself admirably to stage representation with all its stirring situations and picturesque characters. Box plans for the season will be opened at Mr Miller’s at 10 this morning.
