The sum of £11,243 lUa was put through the totalisator, compared with £8587 10s for the second day of the summer meeting last year, an increase of £2656. The winning combination on the double machine. Omati and Bully, paid a dividend of £273 Is. The results were: Moana Handicap, 51- furlongs.— Miss Crespin 1, Turbine 2, Integrity 3. Scratched: Lady Cressy, Master Clements. Won by a head. Time 1.11 3-5. Dividends, £2 17s and £i 4s. Maiden Handicap Hurdles, one mile and a-half and 100 yards.—Fretwork 1, Soultfisli 2. Other starter: Lady Lanta, who fell. Won by six lengths. Time, 3.7 2-5. Dividend £3 17s. Suburban Handicap, 5J furlongs.— Omati 1, Miss Winnie 2, Black and Gold 3. Scratched: Foremost, Conductor, Syren, and Certainty. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.9 4-5. Dividends, £4 12s and 15s. Takapuna J.C. Handicap, II miles. —Bully 1, Claremont 2 Akarana 3.
