ROWING.

The filial of the Gisborne Rowing Club’s sculling events, for t-lio cup presented by Air C. Buscke, was rowed on tlie Tarulicru course last evening, and resulted in a win for Kershaw (30sec.) from Dustin (scr.). Sopn after clearing the footbridge, Kershaw struck tlie mud with his right scull and broke away a considerable portion of tlie blade. He, however, continued rowing, but close to the post he again touched the hank, and in an endeavor to extricate himself turned broadside on to the course, causing Dustin to foul the opposite bank. Owing to this it has been mutually arranged to row tlie final again this evening.
