The arrivals are 107,082 carcases. Australian lambs are in largo supply, tho arrivals being 13,534 carcases. The average price is 4-:jd. Tho market is steady and the trade good, and likely to continue bo. The average price of New Zealand beef is 3gd to 3jd for hind and forequarters respectively. The butter market is steady, and there is a bei ter demand. A largo supply of Australian make is pushed for sales, which affects the market very seriously. Choice New Zea'and is at 107 s, Argen'ine 106 s, ' ustrnlian 10''s, and Dar;i h Jlßs per ewt. There is a poorer demand for sa’tlcss butter at 3s per ewt. less than these quotations. Tho cheese market is fi m. New Zealand makes are giving satisfaction to buyers. There is a good demand for all descriptions. Prices arc advancing. The average price of New Zealand is 63s per ewt. The hemp market is steady, and buriness prospects ore good. Good fair grade, on spot, is at 89.per ton, fair current Manila 10s.
