Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, arc in receipt of the following cable from their London house: —We think a rise is likely to take place in the following descriptions of wool: Merino and crossbred, about 5 per cent. We quote present spot values for following descriptions of tallow: Fine mutton 37s per cwt., good beef 31s 3d per cwt., mixed 30s per cwt. Market is firm.
