The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Co., London, cabled today as follows:—Frozen meat market: The prices are unchanged, but the market is weaker, and the tendency is downward. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, arc in receipt of the following cable from their London house: —We think a rise is likely to take place in the following descriptions of wool: Merino and crossbred, about 5 per cent. We quote present spot values for following descriptions of tallow: Fine mutton 37s per cwt., good beef 31s 3d per cwt., mixed 30s per cwt. Market is firm.
