POST AND TTLVQ’kAPH DEPARTMENT. Pc stal brunch.—Tuesdays, tho 25tli December and Ist January (Christmas Day and New Year’s 1 lay) will be observed as cljee holidays. On Wednesday, the 26th inst. (Boxing Day) tho post iffico will bo open in a 1! its branches, excepting money order and savings bank, from 9 am. to 10 a.m. Receivers and posting boxes will be cleaned on the evenings of Mondays the 24th and 31st inst. Mails usually despatched on Tuesdays the 25th December and Ist January will close at 7.30 pm. on Mondays tho 24th and 31st inst. Cn Boxing Day, the 26;h inst, tho usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will be made. Posting boxes and receivers cleared accordingly. Monday evenings the 24th and 31st inst., a delivery of town letters (including registered’ will be made between 7 and 8 p.m. at tho post office wicket
’Telegraph office. —On Tuesday (Christmas Day) Sunday hours will be observed, vis., 930 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 530 p.m. On Wednesday (Boxing Day), and Tuesday (New Year’s Day) the office will be open from 9 am. to 4 p m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone exchange will observe special hours on Christmas Day, viz , 9 a m to 10 a.m, only. Cn Boxing Day and New Year’s Day continuous attendance as usual from 7 a.m. to 11 p m.
