Motor Oar Fatality.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night. The inquiry into the death of Mrs Kensington, who was killed on Monday by being ran down by a fire brigade motor
ongine, was continued to-day. The groater part of the evidenoe was with regard to the pace at whioh the oar travelled along Lambton Quay and turned into Bowen street on the day of the accident. The driver, Spry, took the oar over the ground, and afterwards said he had gone at about the eamo rate as on Monday. This was denied by some of the witnesses, who said the paoe on Monday had been greater. Some of them contended thst the oar travelled at between 15 and 20 miles an hour, and had turned tho corner at an unsafe speed. It seems to be established that Mrs Kensington arid her daughter did not see the motor until it was practioally on top of them. Tha inquiry was adjourned until next day, the Coroner in the meantime to take the ovidenoe of Miss Louisa Kensington, whQ had a log fractured in tho aooidont,
