WAIUKU FATALITY.
The New Zealand Herald’s Waiuku correspondent telegraphed on Sunday:— A distressing accident occurred last evening to Mrs Fenwick, who has been residing with her son, tho master of the Kariotahi school. She was driving to Waiuku with two grandchildren, when she was thrown from tho sulky, her neck being broken. There was no one near at the time, and the children walked about a mile in order to inform Mr Fenwick,
An inquest was held this morning, whou a verdict was returned that death was duo to an accidental fall from a sulky, causing a fracture of the neck.
Mrs Fenwick’s death has caused great regret in the district, as t sho was highly esteemed. Sho was an old residont of Paparoa, where she resided for 46 years. Mr Wilson, teacher, of Mayfield school, is a son-in law, and Mrs Wilson left Auckland for tho New Zealand Exhibition yesterday, sending hor children to spend tho holidays with her grandmother,
