IRISH BISHOPS AMAZED, MUSS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 10,30 p m., Dec. 17. London, Dec, 17. Irish Bishops arc amazed at the action of the Nationalist Party. The Bishop of Limerick accuses them of elaborate imposture. He declares that their action iu connection with the House of Lords’ amendment in the Education Bill are deplorable and discreditable. Tho Bishop of Manchester in a letter to the Press, exhorts ilia House of Lords not to abandon church schools in order to save Catholics’ schools, The ’limes declares tkrt tho Education Bill is lost unless Earl Crewe announces very substantial concessions.
