A new clause inserted in the Licensing Bill enacts that whenever a licensing district with local option declares for reduction or no license, the Treasurer shall compensate licensees affected out of the compensation fund, but if the fund is /nsufficient the Treasurer shall require every holder of a license in the (state to contribute pro rata to make up the amount required. On failure to comply with a demand by tho licensee within three months, his license shall ipso facto become void. The clause was agreed to.
