A oommisteo meeting of the Gisborne I Bawling Club was held at the Mnscnto Hotol last night. Present : Messrs W. Pettie (in the chair), Harding, Crawford, Robertson, Ponsford, and T. Adair (secretory). Mr J. Ponsford was unanimously tleoted fkip for tho forthcoming tourna-' mens to bo held at Masterton, and entries from those willing to proofed thither will bB received by the secretary until Thursday next The committee trust that there will bo a good selection at the service ot the skip, bo that tho oiub can give a good j aeoouot of iiaelf tbo fcoufUfttooDS. As 1 an invitation has been extended to toe club to ho repressnted at tho Christchurch Exhibition tournament, tho cammilt-0 hope ts be able to accept tho invitation, and to send good teams to maintain tho honor of tho Club.
