The half-yearly meeting of Ledge Turanganui, No. 7, U.A.0.D,, was held in the Lodge-room, Childers road, last evening, there being a very large attendance of members. The principal business of the meeting was to adopt the annual report and bamneo-sheet and to elect officers for the ensuing year. Tho eleciion of officers resulted as follows : —I.P.A., Ben. Gocrgo Miller; A.D„ Bro. A. Wade; V.A., Brc. A. Pool (re-eleotod); Secretary, Bro. G. Darton (rc-slected); Treasurer, Bro. R, G. Crawford (re-elected); Minute Secretary, Bro. V. Garrad ; A.D. Barde, Bros. Geisler and Walker ; V.A. Bards, Bros. J. Sealey and W. Ogden ; 1.G., Bro. D, West; O.G , Bro. Laughton; auditors, Bros. T. G. Lawless and G, T, Witty ; Distriot President, Bro. J. A, EatOD ; representative Grand Lodge, Bro. A. Wade. Tde balancesheet showed that the local Lodge was in a prosperous condition, disclosing a profit of £132 for the half year, while the membership stands at 400. Members expressed satisfaction at the change in the medical attendance provided them, three dootors being available for the Bodge.
