Majority for Lang ... 1235 Tho figures for the 1905 general election wore Kiikbrida 2977, Stewart 2334.

Mr Mas3ey made a short speeob, thanking the electors for returning an Oppositionist and Freeholder. The tremendous majority showed what tho electors thought of thD leasehold proposals of the Government. The election would have a wondorful influence in tho counsels of the country in connection with the land proposals.
