Thence we proceeded to Hick’s Bay, landing cargo the same evening ; on bile 28;h worked Te Aturea, shippiog timber lor Rtporua and Wnarepouga ; ou 29ih landea aver 30 tons cargo at Fort Awanui; on the following morning wa landed cargo at Keporua, and over 30 sons as i'upatoa. On me first lauded about 6 tons at Whareponga, then on to Wapiro, where we lauded aOout 45 tone. Oa too 2nd we shipped all the cargo remaining from tho Aotcn wreck for Mr Xalioch, of Xolago Bay. Oa Monday, 3rd, we worked Tokomaru, landing about 20 tons and shipping a lot of wool and sundries, arrived at Tolago at 8 the same ovening. On Tuesday, 4th, landed the timber, etc., leaving at 10 a.m. for Loisel s ssaston, Waihau, where we shipped 237 b ties of wool and sundries. Finished there on the evening of the sth, and then oamo on to Pakarae; landed about Bix tons cargo there yesterday morning, and shipped 130 bales of wool. Left there at 4 p.m. Thursday, arriving in the river at 8 p.m. The weather was fine throughout for landing and shipping, excepting on one day, Sunday, tho 2nd. Tne Ksoo brought 370 bales of wool for transhipment at Gisborne, and the original cargo for Gisborne is 60 tons, a ——. ——•
