GISBORNE RIFLES CAMP AND CONCERT.

Unfortunately the rain that set in last night upset llio concert that was to bo held. If the weather proves sufficiently fine to-day the Concert will take place tonight, otherwise it will have 10 be abandoned, as the School Concert will bo held and the officers do not want to interfere with the attendance mere.

'l'he camp so far, has proved, most successful, and at the samo time boenficial to those engaged, Yesterday morning tiro work consisted of an attack practice by Captain Jioere, the parade strength being oil of. the Gisborno Ritlos. The cadets wore put through company drill by Captain Cowan. The attack practice was made realistic, a number of “supers” being placed in different parts of che ground. Tnc chango of command owing to “casualties” was very interesting, the command of the company being iiuaiiy taken by a private. A short company drill was held in the afternoon.
