The Daily Express states that simultaneous with Ferrie.-a’s raid another Beer raid occurred at Olivier’d hoik, Pemf Pass, between Orangia and Natal. Many shots wero fired at a constabulary outpost, whose tents were riddled. The raiders escaped in the darkness. The constabulary had refused to allow the entry into Natal of Boer stock.
