The schooner Waiapu was at Waipiro yesterday. The steamer Haupiri was waiting at Waipiro yesterday to work the port. A strong wind was blowing and interfering with operations. The steamer Mamari is expected to arrive in Gisborno next week. The schooner Kaoo worked Awanui on Thursday, and Captain Skinner expects to reach Gisborno by Monday. vrTpOftl.S.
