Tho introductory lines were given by Miss Moggie Dempsey. Mia 3 Anna How Chow made su oxoeiknt Hat vest Queen, and Mias Edna Hayes us the Fairy Queen lookod and acted her pari splendidly. Master Milton Oman as King Kauri, gave his linos with ease, and made an excellent impression. Aa interesting localised dialogue, evidently she work of ten author, caused a good deal of amusemen:, tho young performers, Masters BMlautyuo and Stuckey, receiving a recall which was not responded to. The follow* iog chiidron took pact in tho various tableaux: Misses Parker, Billantyne, Wildish, Camming, Croft, MoCoomb, How Caow, Dempsey, Andrews, and Matter Poiloek. Musio was provided by Miss Pa.-ker’s orohes ra. The " Harvest Q leon ” will be repeated this evening, and tnoss interested in what children really oan do, if properly trained, should not miss the opportunity of soemg this really pretty and instructive cantata.
