Au interesting case in wtiich a firm found it neoessary to pay an agent 41600 to secure speedy adjustment of a Customs dispute called fortn a severe stricture from the Chief Justioe, who said it was a strange thing that it should be neesssary to pay large fees to push business along in Government departments. There must be serious defects in legislation which permitted it.
