PRESS ASSOCIATION Wanganui, yesterday. The Arbitration Court concluded its sittings at noon to day, and adjourned to Hawera, from whence tho Court prove' 1 i to Wellington. This morning the butch .s’ and bookbinders’ disputes were heard. The former hold a conference last night with

the employers, and agreed to a modified award. Tho Judge complimented them on coming to terms without the aid of the Court. The new award takes effect on December Ist, and will be effective for two years. It provides for 51 hours a week, The Court reserved its decision in the bookbinders’ dispute. The conference of the New Zealand Builders’ Association opened this morning. About 25 delegates were present from all parts of tho colony. Tho delegates were welcomed by the Mayor,
