A SUICIDE.
PEESS ASSOCIATION Ashburton, last night. n Early yesterday morning the wife of Fred Clark was found in a garden near her residence, with her throat cut, and a razor beside her. She was taken to a private hospital, whore she died during the afternoon. Mrs Clark had been in poor health for about two years, and had been confined in Sunnysido Asylum some months age. At an inquest held to-day the evidence showed that arrangements had been made to send deceased to a mental hospital. The jury returned a verdict that deceased committed the act while of unsound mind.
