At the meeting of tho Hospital and Charitable Aid Board on Tuesday night it was stated that the District Health Offioer, Dr. Mason, had been notified by telegraph of the oase of a boy afffotal with scarlet ] fever, and a nquest made for instructions. It was stated that so far no reply had been received. It was also stated oy tho Mayor that he had been informid that under no condition would an infretious oase be allowed into the gnoral Hospital. Yostcr day afiernoon Dr. DjLia’e telegraphed tho following reply : u goarlet fever oaio must be provided for in the Hosptah”
