A lad who arrived at Kingaeoto to-day loportod the wreok oi the French barquo Monte Belle, which loft Hobart on the 7ih, in ballast, for Pert Pirie. The lad mot Homo of the crow, which numbers forty all told. They informod him that the barquo wont ashore early on Sunday morning, near Gape Dlcjnedie, at tha south-west extremity of Kangaroo Island. The weathor was oxooodmgly rough. They v/eco trying to make Capo Borda, but missed the light, and wore unaware they wore near land till the vessel Biruck. All hands got safely ashore, though one ooa* man was rather seriously injured, They oampod in a sheltered hut near the scene of the wreck. Provisions have been sent. A Government steamer ha 3 been despatched to render assislauoe. Owing to the crew being all Frenohmen here is a difficulty in obtaining details. Received 1.14 a.m., Nov. 21. Adelaide, Nov. 20.
A report has been received by the Marine Beard that the Monte Belle is a totul wreck.
