PRESS ASSOCIATION

Christohurob, last night.

During tho week ending November 16th 1707 eggs were laid by the hens entered iu the Utility Poultry Club’s second egglaying competition at Linooln College, bringing the total to date to 30 888. The beet totals for tho week were:—O. H. Wilson’s black Orpingtons 37, Allan Petiio’a silver Wyandottts 33, A. E. Lawrence’s brown Leghorns 31; M. Blanch’s silver Wyandottes 31, Mrs Rowe’s white Leghorns 31, J. Jackson’s Hilver Wyandoites 30, H. Walden’s rosoroombed brown Leghorns 30, G. Reynolds' silver Wyandottes 30. Toe highest totals to date are: M. Blanob, silver Wyandottes, 616 ; J. Ashtoo, silver Wyandottes, 562 ; F. O’Brien, silver Wyandottes, 538; Mrs Gordon, brown Leghorns, 498; H. WaltOD, white Orpingtons, 478 ; J. Packman, silver Wyandottes, 473 ; H, Pannell, buff Leghorns, 461.
