A SUICIDE.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Auckland, last night. Daniel Cotton, late steward of iho a.e. | v Wcka, shot himself in the Btc-acner’s cabin at Waiuka this morning. The wrka was lying alongside the whatf, and on hearing the report of tho shot Cspt. Brght went into the cabin and found Cotton dead on tbe floor. A breech-loading eiog'o barrel gon and oirauing rod were by bis side, the ' foimor having just been discharged.
