It has a highly ornate faoade, and contains ample accommodation for the transaction of the town’s business. The council also retain rooms. Viotoria Hall seats 400, with kitohen and supper room kitchoo, etc. The theatre at tho rear oan be colored through the town hall, but is well detached from it. It has also an entirely independent accese. It is a lofty, plain building, with seating for over 1000, fitted with eleotrio and gaslight, water service, and numerous fire esoapss. The fire station is on the same area, faoiog Eek street.
