Under pressure, tbo Admiralty has now arranged that the D.eadnought, with a full compliment of officers and meD, begins a six months’ oruise in December, conducting BteamiDg and gunnery tests for the information of the designers of the now Dreadnoughts.

Continental Powers hesitate to commence their newest battleships until trustworthy information is procurable as to the Dreadnought’s doeigns. Orders aggregating nearly odd million pounds for she armament for three Droaduoughts, for delivery witbiu two years, have been given to J. Brown and Company, Oammell, Lairds, and Viekera Maxim. Too remainder, amounting to over half o million peunds, go to Sic W. G. Aimstrong and William Beardmore.
