PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT London, Nov. 11. The Gape Agent-General thinks the raid of little political importance. It will soon bo suppressed, and is unlikely to reaoh the populated distriois or towns. Capetown, Nov. 11. The Cape Government does not con* sider the rebellion serious, though the inhabitants may possibly be misled by exaggerated reports of Ferreiraso's successes.
Datch leaders at Capetown, inoludiug Hofmeyer, advise the settlers to support the Government, who have despatched 40 troopers and soouts to intercept the raiders.
One hundred and fifty Gape Mounte Rifles are starting for Prieska immedi ately.

Sir Thomas Fuller, Agent-General for the Gape, on being interviewed, said be regarded the raid as the work of a handful of individuals bent on robbery, and failing to get the foothold they desired in German territory. Capetown, Nov. 12. Ferreria and ten followers are thirty miles north of UpingtoD, intimidating farmers. They oaptured a trader’s and several others’ horses, and additional fire,, arms and ammnnition were seized.
Roosived 11,36 p.m., Nov. 12. Pretoria, Nov. 12. Mr Smuts, interviewed at Pretoria, ridicules the Btories of a rising. He did not attach political importance to the incident. It was most surprising there had. been no previous raid, considering the number of loafers who had reoently gone to German territory. Ia view of the surroundings the raiders must be captured near Upington or compelled to return to German territory.
