Tho attendance was below tho average. Solution's withdrawal from all engagements detracted somewhat from the interest. The events were :

Spring Handicap—True Scot 1, The Castaway 2, Heather Lad 3. Four others started. The winner led all the way and won by 3-5-lengths, there being two lengths between second and third. Time, 2.1.

Flouaington Stakes—Lady Diffidence !, Vaporize 2, Lliulius 3. Nino others started. Uiulius led the field, but Lady Diffidence went to the front and led into tho straight, winning by 7V lengths, half a lorc.h separating second and third. Time, 1,5... VK.C. Handicap Dyed Garments .1, Misty MornJ 2, Tatterdemalion 3. Ten others started. Misty Morn led to tho distauco from Tatterdemalion. Died Gar ments mado a late run, came very fast, aud won by a quarter of a length, there being a neck between second and third. Time, 8.31.

Fisher Plate—Dividend 1, Proeeeder 2, Berthier 3. lolnirc was the only other starter. Dividend won by a quarter of a length, Berthier being live lengths behind the second horse. PRESS ASSOCIATION Christchurch, last night. The weather was fine for the concluding day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Exhibition meeting, though a keeu east wind was blowing. The attendance was verygood for a final day, and again speculation was brisk, the investments totalling j£20,5-1S The results were :

Port Cooper Hurdles—Leeside 1, Eurus 2, Levant 3. Also started : Prospector, Jack Pot, Cavalry, The Guessor,Narcissus, Wild Cat and Design. Leeside led all the way, and won by seven lengths, Time, 3.3. Divs,, T4Os 6d and £5 12s.

Cressy Welter Handicap —Buccleuch 1, Intelligence 2, Stratagem 3. Also started: Petrovna, Gold Seal, Declination, Jolly Roger, Chryseis, Lady Lyonors, Koputa'i, Balsam, Astrakhan, and Hemlock. Petrovna was left at the post and took no part in the race. Won comfortably by two and a half lengths. Time, 115, Divs., US 6s 6d and £i Os 6d. Seymour Handicap—Don Orsino 1, Sea King 2, Franc 3.
