E Briggs aged 61, well known many years ego as tnauager of the Pces c , Christ" church, died at Pioton l*.st night, Mr Briggs had been omployed in the Audit Department at Wellington in recent years, and whb spending a brief holiday in Pioton to recuperate from an operation he Lad undergone here. He was taken Buddoniy ill yesterday, and died on the way to t'no hospital. lie leaves a widow and four | children,
