The conference oommmoes on Friday, Several hundred Adventists are camped here. Mr 8. M. Cobb, president of the New Zealand Oon« ference, will preside over tbo conference. It is intended to build an indastrial sohool in Ma«terlon if suitable property ia obtainable. The building will cost several thousand pounds. Children of all denomin nations will ba admitted to the sohool. This will bo tbe first sohool of its kind established by tho Adventists in New Zealand. It is also intended to oreot one in tho South Island shortly, as well as in Masterton. The Racing Club made a profit of £346 over tho recent meeting.
