A deputation from the Austrian Butohers’ A-sroiatioo asked the Minister for Agrioultace to permit the importation of Australian and American meat, owing to a shortage resulting from the closing of the Servian frontier. The Minister declined, and an indignation meeting wbb held, whieh denounoed the selfishness of the agrainn interests.
