PRESS ASSOCIATION Christchurch, last night. During tho week ending Novomber 2nd, 1867 eggs were laid by tho birds taking part in tho Utility Poultry Club’s egglaying competition at Lincoln College, bringing the total to date to 27,148, The following were tho highest totals for tho week : E. Goodman’s silver Wyandottes 80, C. R. Wilson’s black Minorcas 80, Alexandra Poultry Company’s whito Plymouth Rocks 29, IV. Mowbray’s whito Leghorns 29, G. Reynolds’ silver Wyandottes 28, T. Benson’s white Leghorns 28. Tho best totals to date are : M. Blanch’s silver Wyandottes 560, J. Ashton’s silver Wyandottes 510, L'\ O’Brien’s silver Wyandottes 484, H. Walton's whito Orpingtons -435, Mrs Gordon’s brown Leghorns 485, H. Parnell’s buff Leghorns 421, J. Jackson's silver Wyandottes 412, G. 11. Barnett’s silver Wyandottes 891, Alien Petril’s silver Wyandottes 887, A. L. Webster’s silver 'Wyandottes 880, Mrs J. Mill’s rosecombed, brown Leghorns 384, C. R, Wilson’s black Orpingtons 882.
